Meet Megan, the stylist and creative eye behind your child’s KIDBOX.
When did you become interested in working in Fashion?
I always have had an interest in fashion. I remember playing dress up for hours as a little girl and loved picking out my outfits for school. So it was fitting once I graduated college to go into the industry, and I quickly fell in love with styling.
What is your favorite part about being a stylist at KIDBOX?
I believe clothing can be a huge form of expression. It is so special to me that I can curate boxes for kids all around the country. And as an added bonus, I love that KIDBOX is committed to donating new clothes to children in need.
What was your dream job when you were a kid?
My favorite movie during my early teenage years was Legally Blonde. My obsession left me dreaming about going to Harvard Law School to become an attorney. It is now clear to me that I was more obsessed with Elle Wood’s fashion sense than her determination to go to law school to win her boyfriend back! (LOL)
What is your favorite item in your closet?
My Sevens Jeans are my go-tos — they have the perfect stretch. I wear them throughout all seasons: with layers in the winter or with a cute tank in the summer. My love for Sevens started when I was in middle school and has have become a signature part of my personal style.
Where are some of your favorite places to shop?
Living in New York City really is a spoil when it comes to shopping! Some favorites include Reformation, Zara, COS, and Aritzia. I love doing my online shopping at ASOS and shopping small boutiques and thrift stores in Brooklyn.
Who are your personal style icons?
Brigitte Bardot, Olivia Palermo, and Nicole Richie.
What is your favorite KIDBOX Style?
I love City Cool — it is an effortless way to be fashion forward.
What are you most looking forward to this spring?
Mostly my spring wardrobe! I am also excited about styling our spring boxes — love the bright pops of color KIDBOX will be offering.
