- 6 apples, peeled and chopped
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
Using a child-safe knife, have the children peel and cut the apples into small pieces (note: the smaller the pieces the quicker the apples will cook). In a small saucepan, place the apples and ½ cup water and bring to a boil. Add in the cinnamon and simmer until all the liquid boils out. Mash with a fork when cool. Serve and enjoy.
